Purp Skurp uses a mother of Sherbert x Moonbow #25 as the receiver for the pollen from the legendary Face Off OG male Archive Seed Bank holds dear to his chest. The mother is from their unreleased Sherb x Moombow line; it was unreleased as the production didn't go as planned; they found many mutants of genetic expression, weak and slow growing.

Fletcher of Archive Seed Bank chalked it up to some depression from subsequent inbreeding, but despite this, one phenotype rose from the ashes of that project, one plant that they were excited about.

Despite not being the largest or most productive plant, they found some incredible notes to her and gorgeous bag appeal. Her profile contained notes of soapy guava, apple sauce, potpourri, grape and kushed-out Moonbow funk that filled her nostrils. Hooked from the outset and plant growth be damned, they decided to work it into something far better.

The Face Off hybrid is the result of many previous efforts, outcrossing it to a different pollinator to try to make something with a lot more vigour while retaining the intricate and addictive flavour and effect.
